GARLIC BREAD real nice with a large loaf of Italian or Tuscan bread.
One stick butter melted.
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. of dried herbs*
4 Tablespoons grated Parmesan
Paprika to garnish
Heat oven. Meanwhile combine the butter and garlic*. Heat but do not burn the garlic. Cut bread in half, place on cookie sheet. Brush the halves with the butter mixture . Top with Parmesan Cheese and herbs. Garnish with paprika and pepper. Broil until golden brown. Cut into slices and serve.
* garlic — Option of using Roasted garlic for a different flavor. Heat oven to 350. Peel outer layer of the garlic bulbs. Trim tops off with a knife to expose cloves. Place the bulbs, on a square of aluminum foil, drizzle with olive oil. Wrap, place in baking pan and bake for 40 – 50 minutes. Garlic should be tender. Cool, then squeeze the garlic out of the cloves.
* herbs — I make a blend of thyme, rosemary, basil pepper, but use whatever you enjoy! My mom always used parsley — not a favorite of mine. Now that I am older I appreciate its use as a healthy additive to near everything.
I loathe people who keep dogs.
They are cowards who haven’t got the guts to bite people themselves.
