Continuous Storytelling – Just for fun

Continuous Storytelling: In the conventional game, a person starts with, “Once upon a time there was a princess” or In this version you start out, “Once upon a time there was a ( ) who came from (fill in place)The story then must  go on to explain how the place name (location) contributed–or didn’t to his or her success. In these troubled times a bit of storytelling and make believe might be stress relieving. Pick your own character and place, or use one of mine.

I did something like that with the input of three people who emailed me and made comments. Using their comments I made “Oscar” into a story. Their where three turnaround points where readers could have picked a different direction. Not getting them, I went ahead with my own.

environmentalist, Seattle WA
politician, WA DC
banker, Wall street NY
horticulturist, Santa Cruz CA (or gardener) EXAMPLE:

I must explain this insipid beginning as there is a bit of history there. My parents named me Herb and I was a Senf Meaning mustard, so Herb Mustard was doomed from the get go. Then I moved to a town called Sequim, pronounced like Sequin. Go figure?

The first commentator gets to choose the character, place and story beginning.
