Honey Garlic Ribs

by Herby Rama

2 lbs. pork ribs — chop into 3/4 inch pieces.

Marinate the ribs overnight in a soy mixture for a few hours or overnight.
{1/2 cup soy sauce, 2 Tbs. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp of powdered ginger}

The Marinade Sauce:

Combine the following ingredients in a large saucepan and heat to boiling.
{ 1 cup of water, 1 1/2 cups of honey, 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce, 1 Tbsp. tomato paste, 1 tsp. crushed garlic, a few drops of Tabasco sauce, 1/2 Tbsp. powdered ginger}

Take a 1/4 cup of cold water and dissolve 2 Tbsp. or cornstarch, mixing well. Add to the above to thicken the sauce.

Add ribs to the pan and coat seriously with the sauce.

Then it’s off to the Barbecue — or deep-fry the ribs in a hot peanut oil until golden brown.
