Broccoli (2-3 cups)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1 small onion or shallots<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 2 Tbs. flour<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1\/2 tsp. Salt<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1\/4 cup milk<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1 can mushroom soup (or garlic mushroom soup)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1 egg<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1\/3 cup mayonnaise<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1\/2 tsp. brown mustard<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1\/4 cup cheddar cheese (4 oz. or 1\/2 cup of shredded)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Black pepper<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1\/4 cup bread crumbs or Toasted Sesame seeds<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Lemon juice&lt;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1\/8 cup chopped parsley<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> 1\/4 stick butter<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Cook broccoli in unsalted boiling water with lemon juice. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 14pt;\">Be sure NOT to overcook it!<\/span>\u00a0 It will cook further in the oven.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Saute onion in 1\/4 stick butter (or olive oil).<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Stir in 2 Tbs. flour and salt.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Stir in 1\/4 C. milk. Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Boil one minute and add the mushroom soup. Reduce heat.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Beat separately 1 egg and add to sauce.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Stir in 1\/3 cup mayonnaise and the mustard.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Add the cheese.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Fold in broccoli and 2 tbs. chopped parsley.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Place in baking dish (in another Pyrex one filled with water).<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Remove, add bread crumbs, or sesame seeds.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Return uncovered to oven and cook another few minutes.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\"> Sometimes I briefly turn oven on to broil to to make a nicer crust.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Geneva; font-size: 12pt;\">Touch of paprika for color.
