{"id":1569,"date":"2014-05-22T14:48:33","date_gmt":"2014-05-22T14:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sweetgeodes.com\/senft\/?page_id=1569"},"modified":"2014-05-22T14:48:33","modified_gmt":"2014-05-22T14:48:33","slug":"honey-garlic-ribs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/sweetgeodes.com\/senft\/honey-garlic-ribs\/","title":{"rendered":"Honey Garlic Ribs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>by Herby Rama<\/p>\n<p>2 lbs. pork ribs &#8212; chop into 3\/4 inch pieces.  <\/p>\n<p>Marinate the ribs overnight in a soy mixture for a few hours or overnight.<br \/>\n{1\/2 cup soy sauce, 2 Tbs. garlic powder, 1\/4 tsp of powdered ginger} <\/p>\n<p><strong>The Marinade Sauce:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Combine the following ingredients in a large saucepan and heat to boiling.<br \/>\n{ 1 cup of water, 1 1\/2 cups of honey, 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce, 1 Tbsp. tomato paste, 1 tsp. crushed garlic, a few drops of Tabasco sauce, 1\/2 Tbsp. powdered ginger}<\/p>\n<p>Take a 1\/4 cup of cold water and dissolve 2 Tbsp. or cornstarch, mixing well. Add to the above to thicken the sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Add ribs to the pan  and coat seriously with the sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Then it&#8217;s off to the Barbecue &#8212; or deep-fry the ribs in a hot peanut oil until golden brown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Herby Rama 2 lbs. pork ribs &#8212; chop into 3\/4 inch pieces.
