{"id":1565,"date":"2014-05-22T14:40:54","date_gmt":"2014-05-22T14:40:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sweetgeodes.com\/senft\/?page_id=1565"},"modified":"2014-05-22T14:40:54","modified_gmt":"2014-05-22T14:40:54","slug":"honey-ginger-salmon","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/sweetgeodes.com\/senft\/honey-ginger-salmon\/","title":{"rendered":"HONEY-GINGER SALMON"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>At Lantana&#8217;s, the salmon is served with spiced banana fritters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6 tablespoons honey<br \/>\n1\/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro<br \/>\n1\/4 cup hoisin sauce<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger<br \/>\n1 tablespoon chopped canned chipotle chilies<br \/>\n1 tablespoon golden brown sugar<\/p>\n<p>4 8-ounce salmon steaks (each about 1 inch thick)<br \/>\nVegetable oil<\/p>\n<p>Stir honey, cilantro, hoisin sauce, ginger, chilies and brown sugar in bowl to blend.<\/p>\n<p>Preheat broiler. Brush salmon steaks with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brush with some of honey-ginger glaze. Broil salmon until opaque in center, basting occasionally with remaining glaze, about 4 minutes per side.
